A beautiful first summit, with one of the best views in the Tatras.
The journey moves from quiet forest paths into the open landscape of the High Tatras. As we climb higher, the scenery gradually changes from woodland to rocky alpine terrain, with mountain lakes, steep peaks and wide views opening around us.
The route leads through Veľká Studená dolina, one of the most distinctive valleys in the High Tatras, before continuing higher towards Svišťový štít. With every step, the surrounding peaks and valleys become more open, creating a constantly changing mountain landscape.
The summit itself is technically straightforward, making Svišťový štít a beautiful introduction to the higher mountains of the Tatras.
A full mountain day, moving from forest to high alpine terrain and towards one of the most beautiful views in the Tatras.
This journey is accessible only with a mountain leader.
There is no marked hiking trail to the summit.
